Boheme Restaurant - Bali, Indonesia.

Meet Boheme Restaurant by Shore Amora in Bali, Indonesia. Boheme is a spot I have visited many times over the years. A slice of modern, yet calm luxury tucked away near the ocean, set amongst palm trees, day beds and cold Aperol Spritz. Boheme is located at the main pool area of this Shore Amora property, sharing the space with the nomad hub, day loungers, and nature. There are two reasons one would come to this space, either to work in a calm beautiful relaxing space, or to not work at all, and soak up the sun, while sipping on beautifully curated cocktails. Either way you get the best out of both worlds.

Boheme which notes itself as an all-day dining establishment, has a rather unique menu. I would say the menu perfectly syncs both local balinese ingredients with a hint of western flair. My favorite way to order at this restaurant is by creating my own brunch, which is something they offer on their menu. One simply selects your own small dishes to makeup a larger meal. The options are not intimidating but all consistent of fresh, healthy, textured foods. Think sautéed beans and garlic, fresh sough dough bread, roasted mushrooms, poached eggs, tempeh teriyaki, paired with avocado butter or mixed vegetables . And if you’re craving a sweet treat then you’ve come to the right place. I also have to note their non-alcoholic Boheme spritzer - perfect for those sunny days when you’re not indulging in an alcoholic drink.

Who is this space for? When I visit Boheme I see groups of friends, couples, solo travelers or digital nomads, and those simply on holiday lounging in the pool working on their tan. I have seen guests of all ages, the twenty-somethings, thirty-somethings and forty and fifty-somethings. It is very welcoming to those of most ages, and all demographics. It is an Adults Only Resort catering to children over the age of 12 years old , which I think works very well in this environment.

What can you expect price wise? Honestly Boheme always continues to surprise me. The price range for a luxury setting like is pretty brilliant and aligned with other eateries in Bali, Indonesia. I like that I can come here both as a treat but also on a regular day out. I would bring friends here, I often bring my husband with me and I like treat myself to alone time here. The staff are friendly and helpful, their social media often advertises upcoming events throughout the property. Salsa nights and events at The Atas - work desks and quiet air-conditioned space at The Nomad , massages at Jani Spa, Aperol Spritiz specials by the day beds, cooking classes, and more.

The food is delicious, I have never found fault with any dish I have ordered or eaten at this property. The wait staff are really attentive to when I have any special requests like allergies, which as someone who worked in the industry herself for decades, means a lot. There are too many establishments around the world, where the staff are not paying close attention to what the guests are asking, ordering or relaying, so if feels good to be heard at Boheme. The kitchen team really know what they are doing and the food always comes out better than you ever imagined.

In conclusion does this property wow and wander? Yes the answer is yes.
Will I be back? Yes.
Would I love to spend a few weekdays lounging in the Nomad Bedroom at the hotel? Again 100% yes.

As long as we are visiting this wonderful island I will be sure to pop in whenever I can. The interior design and layout of this area is open, filled with natural light, open spaces and laid out in a way that is not claustrophobic - not something all eateries think of, so I am very grateful for that. I have always visited on sunny days, so please keep that in mind. This place was built for Bali’s eternal sun, so I think you’ll be alright.

If you are thinking of heading to Boheme depending on the weekday and or time, I would have a look at their socials and see if there are any special events or happenings going on, and if there are any private events - other than that, pack your day bag and costume and head on over. You can even pack your laptop if you feel you must.I look forward to sharing more with you about the Shore Amore Properties and their accommodations when I get the opportunity.

Thank you for reading, and for those of you joining us at the beginning of the Magazine (side) of our offerings, we hope you enjoy our insights and discoveries from around the globe. Maybe next time I will be typing to you from my day bed with Aperol Spritz in hand.
